Internet Issues

As a writer who has been at large on the internet for some years, I would like to make a few observations:

Browsers and HTML

Most world wide web surfers use a browser called Microsoft Internet Explorer to access the web, but many do not know that they can use other browsers - they have not been given the choice. Microsoft has not always adhered to agreed standards about the use of languages such as HTML - the language of the world wide web - and other developments behind the scenes, and as a result some web users have not had access to all features and developments. However most common browsers have been recoded to conform to standards which have become recently accepted, and this together with background changes to the material in this site means that most of the interactive features are accessible to other users in a more uniform way. The following modern browsers work well with material on this site and the rest of the world wide web:
Mozilla
Mozilla Firefox
version 2.0
Netscape
Netscape -
currently version 9.0
Opera

Opera -
version 9.26
Safari
